Launch of the World’s first Global Leg Health Center

On xth of March 2008 the ‘Antistax® Leg Health Center’ will ‘open its doors’ to help consumers around the world suffering from everyday leg health problems.

The ‘Antistax® Leg Health Center’ (www.leghealthcenter.com) is the world’s first comprehensive information resource on leg health, constructed by an international Steering Committee of healthcare professionals. The Center is aimed at people (predominantly women) suffering from tired, heavy, achy or swollen legs to help provide the latest guidance on legs, common conditions and options for prevention and treatment.

With an average 30% of women in Europe1 suffering from everyday leg health problems, the Center will no doubt prove a useful guide offering relevant and credible tips and information on a regularly updated website, and via press articles.

Dr Eckhard Schaefer, chair of the Steering Committee, commented: ‘We take our legs for granted until they start to swell and ache. But despite this pain and discomfort, most of us choose to ignore the problem instead of seeking a solution'.

The Antistax® Leg Health Center will provide expert information and advice for women to help them relieve their daily aches and pains. It will address the issue of leg health and raise awareness of the importance of looking after your legs and the various everyday treatment options. Please visit the ‘Antistax® Leg Health Center’ at www.leghealthcenter.com for more information on how you can help your legs. -end-
