Dr Sarah Jarvis

Dr Sarah Jarvis is a GP, GP trainer, fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and Women’s Health spokesperson for the RCGP. Dr Jarvis has extensive experience as a medical writer and broadcaster, and is currently the Radio 2 doctor and doctor to the One Show on BBC1, as well as medical expert for Good Housekeeping, My Weekly and Pregnancy magazines, as well as spending 10 years as ITN lunchtime News doctor.

Dr Jarvis also contributes regularly to GMTV, Sky News, The Wright Stuff on Channel 5 and Radio 5 live. She has been a regular contributor to a variety of medical magazines and journals including Update, Doctor, Practice Nurse, the British Journal of Cardiology and Cardiology News and has authored a number of health books.

As a member of the Antistax Leg Health Center steering committee Dr Sarah will author thought pieces on leg health, review materials / documents published by the Antistax Leg Health Center , contribute her thinking to surveys and findings and provide advice for the center on topics relevant to consumers everyday leg health issues.
